Martial Lanoir was examined and placed in pre-trial detention for “murder” on Monday May 16, learned franceinfo, from a judicial source. He is suspected of having shot and killed a 27-year-old young man on the night of Friday to Saturday in Paris.
This 50-year-old man is a far-right sympathizer. He notably stood out in September 2020 on the set of the program Balance Ton Post, presented by Cyril Hanouna on C8, by spreading false information with conspiratorial tendencies on the Covid-19 pandemic.
A fight broke out on Saturday around 2 a.m. on Boulevard de Clichy in Paris, according to a police source at franceinfo. Three individuals were hitting a fourth, when a fifth man drove by in a BMW. He parked his vehicle, got out, told them to stop but the three men sent him to graze. So he went back to his car, pulled out a Colt 45 and shot the person who insulted him, hitting him in the head and killing him instantly. The suspect had fled before being arrested by police a few streets away, near his vehicle, around 3:50 a.m.
