Maritime rescue services save a broken down yacht in Plouguerneau

In North Finistère, maritime rescue came to the rescue of an English yacht 25 meters this Sunday morning. The ship called for help around 7:30 a.m. The CROSS received this phone call, except that it was impossible to recontact the building afterwards. Boats, rescuers went to reconnoitre the yacht, but no sign of life. They then contacted the English emergency services., who eventually managed to locate him and talk to him.

The yacht actually had a hydraulic problem, a stuck bar problem. It was off Plouguerneau in North Finistère, in Laber Vrac’h. The emergency services were able to tow it. The three people on board are fine. The operation lasted more than five hours in total.
