On June 14, 2021, the life of Marion Rousse and Julian Alaphilippe has definitely changed. In a relationship for more than two years with the cycling star, the one who works as a consultant for France Télévisions gave birth to an adorable little boy named Nino. A real upheaval for the two lovers who now have to divide their time between their very busy schedule and their boy with whom they try to spend as much time as possible.
Victim of a terrible fall at the end of April, Julian Alaphilippe was able to take advantage of moments of tranquility at home to savor moments with his little Nino, but as he said recently, he still hopes to be able to participate in the next Tour de France. This would mean leaving home for several weeks and as Marion Rousse has just revealed in an interview for Paris Match, he always has a little ritual of his own before each departure. “He always photographs him with his comforter before leaving to have him everywhere with him. He needs him. The emotions he shares with his son allow him to fight at the right time.”says the president of the Tour de France Women.
Marion Rousse is about to leave Nino for a long time
Dad hen, Julian Alaphilippe therefore seems to have trouble leaving his little Nino before each competition. With her new responsibilities, Marion Rousse will also have to leave her son for some time with her parents since she will have to follow the Tour de France. “Usually, I’m not absent for more than a week in a row. A month is going to be a long time. Certainly more for me than for him. He will be with grandpa and grandma. They will come to visit us on rest days”she tells our colleagues.
If Nino was already born last year, he was still too young to realize his parents’ absence and the separation may be more complicated today. “At the time, our son was a baby. He slept and fed. Today, he is 9 months old and already walks. It would not necessarily be pleasant for him”concludes the young mother.
