For Marine Le Pen, 2024 will be the year of “confirmation of the relevance of our ideas”. During her greetings to the French, the leader of the deputies of the National Rally (RN) called for them to gather at the June Europeans behind the president of the RN Jordan Bardella, head of the party list.

“As we put (in 2022) Emmanuel Macron in a minority in the Assembly, it is now up to us to make his political family a minority in the European Parliament.”urges, in a video posted on, the three-time unsuccessful presidential candidate. She attacked again “hypocrisy” from Brussels on subjects such as immigration, purchasing power, “the defense of industry and agriculture” French or “technological sovereignty”.

Marine Le Pen described the year 2023 as “particularly trying” for France, citing the 40 French people killed in Israel during the Hamas attack and the hostages still in the hands of the Palestinian movement. She also denounced “the devastating inflation, the riots, the wanton murders, the school and the hospital in a deplorable state” as well as the housing crisis. She wants, however, “the heart full of optimism”.

The RN, a governing force

In public debate, “never have our ideas been so validated by our adversaries”, she assures after the adoption of the immigration law, voted in particular by the RN deputies. Marine Le Pen had already mentioned “an ideological victory” while this text, on which the Constitutional Council must still rule, includes a form of “national preference” in French law, one of the most symbolic demands of the far-right party.

The one who has not given up on her presidential ambitions, with a view to 2027, also affirmed that the RN, with 88 deputies and three senators, now embodied a governing force “who tomorrow will be able to lead France on new paths of trust and unity”.
