Since his “eviction” from the party national rally, formerly called National Front, Jean-Marie Le Pen does not only have good relations with his daughter Marine Le Pen, yet his “right arm” and his most faithful supporter when he was president of the far-right party. But when the candidate for the 2022 presidential election took over the reins in 2011, everything changed.
In reality, it was only several years after this takeover that the relationship between the girl and her father turned sour. The latter, after learning of his dismissal, had expressed his wish that his daughter no longer bear the surname Le Pen. “When he is injured, he can be terribly brutal and terribly violent in the words he expresses. He has qualities and he has reverses of medals […] He knows exactly where to type for the most hurtful words. Then he forgets”concluded Marine Le Pen.
