They don’t want anyone to know that they are my children
Marina Carrere d’Encausse is mother of three children : Laura, Thibault and Hugo that she had with her ex-husband Francis to whom she was married for twenty-five years. Podcast guest Women on TV of Tele-Leisure last March, she had to reveal that her children did not bear the name of Carrère d’Encausse: “I have three children aged 33, 30 and 26. One is a screenwriter, one is a graphic designer and the latter does both auditing and politics. In all the places where they work, nobody knows that they are my children. They do not bear my name and they don’t want anyone to know that they are my children. They want to succeed by themselves, they are right!“, she confided.
I wanted to teach them the taste of happiness, with a strict education
Michel Cymes’ ex-acolyte also spoke about his family life with his three children: “I never worked on weekends for example, I always took good holidays. I was not at all the ‘sandbox’ mum, ‘cakes’ but on the other hand, I had a which was to give them self-confidence. I wanted to teach them the taste of happiness, the taste of effort, with a strict education. Those were my values. Today, they have self-confidence, so I tell myself that I really succeeded even if I didn’t make a lot of sand pies!”.
