Accusations of incest targeting actor Richard Berry. An investigation closed without further action on Wednesday August 31, 2022 due to statute of limitations according to information communicated by the Paris prosecutor’s office to Agence France-Presse (AFP).
As a reminder, Coline Berry-Rojtman, born in 1976 from the union between Richard Berry and actress Catherine Hiegel, filed a complaint in January 2021 against her father, denouncing acts of rape, sexual assault and corruption of minors in the years 1984-1985. Legal action started even though the latter knew full well that the alleged facts were time-barred.
“This takes note that the facts are prescribed. We therefore understand that the facts are characterized, and that is what we expected. No one will be able to say that Coline Berry is a liar anymore,”declared his lawyer Patrick Klugman following the trial targeting the actor of Me César, 10 ½ years old.
