Marie’s gluten-free pastries in St-Régis du Coin

Are you allergic to gluten? You are not alone! The number of regular gluten-free consumers in France is estimated at 5 million.

Gluten is a protein found in several cereals, including wheat, barley, oats, rye and which hides everywhere in industrial foods.

There are the gluten intolerant, the gluten hypersensitive, and those addicted to gluten-free diets in hopes of losing weight. That makes them gourmets to satisfy!

Marie Béal, the chef of the restaurant ” The 4 M Garden” in Saint-Régis du Coin in the Loire, is personally affected by this disease called Celiac disease. She has thus developed a whole series of “gluten-free” recipes for herself, her relatives and her restaurant.

A healthy, balanced menu but with desserts, also gluten-free!
