The album My country is love was in fact released in October 2018, the recording of this disc having started in spring 2017, shortly before the singer’s condition deteriorated.

Another soberly named opus Johnny was then released in October 2019, a disc which twelve old recordings by the artist, remixed with new symphonic arrangements under the direction of Yvan Cassar. In the same line, Johnny act II which is also a posthumous compilation of old tracks, was released on September 10, 2021.

This Wednesday, November 15, 2023, the announcement of the release of a new unreleased song will certainly delight fans. On the X account (formerly Twitter) of TF1 Info, journalist Marie-Sophie Lacarrau proudly announced that she will reveal the title “A shout” in its 1 p.m. television news, this Thursday, November 16. This never before heard song will appear in the compilation Made in rock’n’roll available on November 17 from Warner Music. We learn that this is the very last recorded in the studio by the artist before his death in December 2017. Finally, TF1 will also unveil the music video for A shoutcomposed by Yodelice, whose real name is Maxim Nucci.
