This Friday, September 30, a new issue of Dance with the stars is expected on TF1. As every week since the launch of the season, a couple will be eliminated from the competition after being subjected to the remarks of the four members of the jury, namely François Alu, Chris Marques, Bilal Hassani and Marie-Agnès Gillot. This is a first experience in this role for the latter who is usually more busy training the students of her dance school near Reims. And question legitimacy, there is no better! Indeed, Marie-Agnès Gillot is a very famous star dancer who has been evolving in this environment since her childhood. The general public gradually learns to know it thanks to Dance with the stars and can now delve deeper into her journey with her book out of the box published on September 29.
Through its pages, she looks back on her beginnings as a ballerina, the highlights of her career but also on the dramas that marked her life. Marie-Agnès Gillot notably had to deal with no less than five deaths of relatives in 2020. Our colleagues from TV Major Channels who obtained the book reported that the pretty brunette had been confronted with the death of her mother, her mentor Patrick Dupond, her uncle, her father and her stepfather during that same year. “This violence, I used to pick it up and turn it into strength“, she writes, resilient.
The pathology she suffered could have ended her career
It must be said that, from adolescence, the one who did not spare Léa Elui in Dance with the stars experienced suffering, both mental from his sporting activity and physical. “The doctors detect him a double scoliosis at the start of his adolescence. Marie-Agnès gained 12cm in one year and has to wear a corset 24 hours a day“, explain TV Major Channels. A most painful time. “This corset bruises me to my flesh. I have my breast cut in half, bedsores in the hip, in the buttock, an open wound“, she explains in her book.
But, always showing courage and selflessness, “she will refuse the operation, synonymous with the end of her career, and will throw the corset five years later“.”This pain will never leave me. I just learned to live with it“, she confides again.
