Marcus Thuram signs for Inter Milan for five seasons

Like his father Lilian in his time, Marcus Thuram will play in Italy. Free of any contract, the French international (10 caps, 0 goals) signed up on Saturday July 1 with Inter Milan for five years.

Born in Parma where his father played, the player, trained at Sochaux and passed through Guinguamp, has been defending the colors of Borussia Mönchengladbach since 2019. In 4 seasons in the Bundesliga, the 25-year-old has scored 34 goals in 111 games and has just concluded his most successful season with 13 goals and 6 assists.

In Germany, the Frenchman has sometimes also made waves, especially in December 2020 when he was suspended for five games after spitting in the face of an opponent. The same year, he played his first Champions League match at San Siro against the Interists.

Three years later, the unfortunate finalist at the World Cup with the Blues will find the fervor of the lair of Inter and the evenings of the Champions League.
