Marco Verratti and his wife Jessica Aidi accomplices at Roland-Garros alongside a former PSG idol

It was a Sunday for history yesterday at Roland-Garros where the men’s final consecrated the tennis legend for the fourteenth time, Rafael Nadal. The champion overcame the surprise Casper Ruud in three small sets and less than 2h30 of play. A final certainly not up to the previous matches of the Spaniard who faced Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev, but he still enters a little more in the history of tennis with a 22nd Grand Slam title in his career. To attend, the stands of the central court were packed and the stars had obviously made the trip to the Porte d’Auteuil.

Among the celebrities present, the footballer of Paris Saint-Germain Marco Verratti made a notable appearance. While he should be with the Italian selection at the moment, the 29-year-old sportsman was injured and he was able to return home to Paris. So he took advantage of his vacation to have a good time with his wife, Jessica Aidi. The two lovers got married last July and since then they seem happier than ever. Present at Roland-Garros this Sunday, they lent themselves to the game of photographers by posing together and we quickly could see the beautiful bond that unites them (photos can be found in the slideshow).

The Parisian finds a good friend from PSG

Marco Verratti had not come alone to the stands of the Philippe Chatrier court since a former teammate of his had made the trip. Indeed, the idol of Parisian supporters, Javier Pastor, was in Paris for the final and the two friends met to watch it together. More surprisingly, the little Italian was sitting next to one of the stars of world football, the Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski. Wishing to leave Bavaria this summer, was the Pole convinced to join Paris after his afternoon with the partner of Neymar and Kylian Mbappé? Answer in the next few weeks!
