AT Alta Badia, in the Dolomites, the days go by and the departure gates keep coming. On Monday, December 20, the skiers set off for the second giant slalom of the Alpine Skiing World Cup stage.
Sunday, for the first lift of this giant on the track Gran Risa d’Alta Badia, Mathieu Faivre seized the first heat before collapsing on his second attempt and finished 16th. It was the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen who won.
Alexis Pinturault finished 15th after a big foul in the first round and an imbalance caused by his hand, which hung a door in the second. The Courchevel skier, winner at Alta Badia last season, will be keen to take revenge on Monday for the second giant slalom of the Italian stage.
