National Rally deputy Laurent Jacobelli participated in the march against anti-Semitism, which was held in Paris on Sunday November 12. Present on the set of 12/13 info, Monday November 13, he ensures: “The question yesterday was to come together, to tell the whole Nation that our compatriots of the Jewish faith must live in security. There is an urgent need to say it and show it. There were 67 deputies from the National Rally, we were welcomed with applause with great hope. ‘Protect us, defend us from Islamism.’“ He adds: “We were there because it was our place, because it was our deep desire to be there.”
“Today’s anti-Semitism is Islamism”
Asked about the past of National FrontLaurent Jacobelli certifies: “Today’s anti-Semitism is Islamism. (…) Those who do not say these words are missing the point of reality, like Madame Yaël Braun-Pivet. (…) There is no hierarchy in horror. There is no good or bad anti-Semitism. All anti-Semitism must be condemned.” He recognize that there is a “residual right-wing and far-right anti-Semitism” and recalls that Jean-Marie Le Pen was excluded from the RN.
