March against anti-Semitism: the national secretary of the PCF, Fabien Roussel, “will not march” alongside the RN

The presidents of the National Assembly and the Senate called on Tuesday, November 7 in a column published in Le Figaroat a march against anti-Semitism in Paris on Sunday. “I think that the RN, given its history, has no place in such a gathering”estimated the national secretary of the French Communist Party (PCF), Fabien Roussel, Wednesday in “4 Vérités” on France 2, in reaction to the announced participation of the National Rally. “For my part, I will not parade alongside him”continued the PCF deputy.

“We may march in another place”

“I am going to meet the other leaders of the Republican left forces. We might march somewhere else, but not with them [les élus du RN]“continued Fabien Roussel. “The subject today is to bring together the French against anti-Semitism, against racism, for a ceasefire and for peacefor a two-state solution”continued the national secretary of the PCF.

“The deputies of RNtoday, are those who do not want a humanitarian truce, who even defend the fact that if there are Palestinian children who die, it is collateral damage. It’s an unspeakable horror.”castigated the former communist presidential candidate. “How can we today imagine, including the presidents of the National Assembly and the Senate, manifest with those who do not carry the same message as French diplomacy?“he asked.
