An album that he will defend on stage next fall during a tour throughout France. But in the meantime, the 59-year-old artist is touring the media instead. The opportunity for him to confide in his texts but not only. The promotion of his album is also the way for Marc Lavoine to relive childhood memories.

Asked by Nathalie Lévy about the Lot region where he used to go on family vacation, Marc Lavoine revealed that he had been victim of a serious accident.
“I was in the kitchen. And then, my mother used to heat milk, in the morning, for her children, Francis [son frère aîné, ndlr] and me. And I grabbed the tail of the pan, I think, and it fell on me. So the milk fell on me“, he explained. And to remember in the details of his outfit at the time: “I had a three-button nylon polo shirt here, which I really liked, by the way. It was crushed raspberry. He was really handsome.“

The worst having been avoided, Marc Lavoine was able to continue to grow serenely, brought up by parents who spoke to him only of “poetry, painting, politics too“, as he confided. And one day, the singer himself became a dad. Simon, his 35-year-old eldest, born of his first marriage to model Denise Pascale (who died of cancer in December 2017). Three more followed later: Yasmine (23 years), Novel (14 years old) and Milo (12 years old), from his past union with Sarah Poniatowski, which ended in 2018, after 23 years of love.
Marc Lavoine almost enlarged his already large family with his young wife Line Papin who was pregnant with twins. Unfortunately, the novelist could not bring this pregnancy to term. Indeed, she recently revealed that she suffered a miscarriage.
