Himself a graduate of the Montreal Conservatory of Music in 1997, the tenor artist is known for his participation in many musical events in Quebec. Having also been a host on Radio-Canada, he has performed all over the world.

He is an exceptional person recognized for his artistic vision, his mobilizing leadership and his ability to communicate and inspire. I am convinced that Mr. Hervieux will be able to contribute to attracting the best talent and to forging promising links and partnerships. Mr. Hervieux will work to make the Conservatory an even more open, dynamic and accessible environment.

Monique F. Leroux, president of the board of directors of the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec, in a press release

The Conservatoire affirms that its new director general, who succeeds Jean-François Latour, will be able to “ensure the influence of the institution” throughout the province.
