Indeed, the comedian, who left Virgin Radio, revealed that he had had to undergo a heavy intervention in the past against Yann Barthès. The host of the daily TMC approached the subject when he mentioned the new show of his guest, who will present his new project, Immanuel 2effective January 19, 2023.
A show in which he evokes many subjects and in particular the most intimate as the journalist wished to recall. “I read the list of subjects you mentioned in the show and you go very far in the intimate. Do you see what I want to talk about or not?”first said the presenter of Daily before getting much more specific: “It’s the operation of the testicles”. What annoy Manu Payet who then retorted: “Ah, I’m actually talking about that on TV…”. Despite the astonishment, the comedian was quick to talk about THE subject of the evening.
The operation that allows him to give life
“In fact, I had this chance to have a child and I say… I was born in 1975 so I had to train myself to be a new guy. But in fact, in boys, they (the testicles, editor’s note ) must go down and in 1981, medicine had to decide, in every sense of the word”he let go at first before bringing a touch of humor to his statement in order to make the subject less heavy than it already was: “It’s an expropriation if you like, a business trip, let’s put it like that, so that they can serve me a little later.”
According to the statements of Manu Payet, the operation has borne fruit, although the comedian had many doubts a few years ago. “When I had the operation I was 6 years old, and during all these years, I did not know if it was going to work (to have children, editor’s note). And when it worked a short time ago finally , almost six years now, I thought of this surgeon who had worked well at the time with scrap metal”he recalled facing Yann Barthès before concluding: “I said to myself, it turns out the guy is dead but I can give life thanks to him”.
