Manon Leduc winner of the 1st Fish Box Trophy

The final of the 1st FISH BOX Trophy for the general public, organized by the Syndicat Français des Conserveries de Poissons, has just taken place in the famous Ecole de cuisine Ferrandi-Paris. For this first edition, the candidates have created their recipes on the theme: “Canned fish globe-trotter”

Cooking enthusiasts were invited to use their creativity to submit an original recipe on Instagram, revisiting a classic of world gastronomy by highlighting one or more varieties of canned fish.

Four finalists were selected from the sixty entries received from all over France. They came to make their recipes during the final in Paris and their creations were examined by a prestigious Jury chaired and coordinated by Guy Legay, Chef Meilleur Ouvrier de France.

It was Manon Leduc who won first prize with her meringue-style asparagus tuna tart, the recipe of which you will find on the Syndicat Français des Conserveries de Poissons website.
