It’s now official. MEP Manon Aubry will be the leader of the rebels in the next European elections, the person announced in an interview with 20 minutes, published Sunday January 28. She also explains that the list is being developed, and that activists will have the opportunity to express their views “early March” on the list “in its entirety”. Manon Aubry defends a “clear break with liberal Europe”believing that the EU “remains addicted to free trade, austerity and the commodification of everything”.

While the left is leaving in dispersed order in the run-up to the European elections (June 9), Manon Aubry has not definitively drawn a line under a union. “I appeal to all the orphans of Nupes, all those for whom its creation represented hope”adds the MEP. “Join us, come help us!” Manon Aubry also denounces a Bardella-Attal duo, which she describes as a “real threat” requiring “stay united behind the Nupes program”.

“There will be a list of the popular union on June 9 which will defend the program, the spirit, the strategy of Nupes and it is the one that all of rebellious France will support.”
