manitoba | The minibus accident which occurred in June makes a 17th victim

(Carberry) The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Manitoba says a 17e victim died of his injuries, a month after a bus accident in the province.


The police force specifies that a 79-year-old woman, who had been hospitalized since the collision, died on Sunday.

On June 15, seniors were traveling in a minibus to the Carberry Casino in southwestern Manitoba when the bus hit a semi-trailer truck on the Trans-Canada Highway.

The 25 people on board the bus, including the driver, were from Dauphin and the surrounding area.

Earlier this week, provincial health authorities announced that two patients injured in the crash had been discharged from hospital.
