The duo is now passing the torch to Mike Madokoro (chef and co-owner of Bar Suzanne), Minh Phat (chef and co-owner of Mui Mui) and Elena Racevičiūtė (Minh’s right arm indoors, at Mui Mui).

The new team renamed the place, which will henceforth be called Anemone, the floral emblem of the province of Manitoba.

“Me, I am above all the link between Mike and Elena, explains Minh. It will be their project more than mine. They will continue in the boreal local route.

Reopening is expected later this fall. As for Élisabeth Cardin, she moved to Bas-du-Fleuve to pursue her art and writing projects, among other things. Simon Cantin continues to take care of the Taverne Atlantic, of which he is co-owner.
