Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood will sign for Olympique de Marseille, Radio France’s sports management learned from a source close to the matter, confirming information from RMC Sport. He is OM’s third recruit, after Ismaël Kone and Lilian Brassier.
The Englishman will sign a five-year contract with the Olympian club, subject to passing his medical. Mason Greenwood, trained at Manchester United and loaned last season to the Spanish club Getafe, was under contract with the Red Devils until June 2025.
The 22-year-old was charged with domestic violence and attempted rape by his partner, Harriet Robson. The charges were dropped in 2023.
