German police announced on Thursday, July 18, that they had arrested a man the day before on suspicion of harassing Taylor Swift ahead of the pop star’s first concert in the country. The man, a 34-year-old American national, was held in custody until Saturday inclusive. “in order to avoid any danger”police in Gelsenkirchen, western Germany, said in a statement.
He had made himself noticed on social networks “by threats against Swift and her partner, American football player Travis Kelce“, also present in the Veltins-Arena, the stadium where the concert took place.
