The man suspected of racist insults against actress Annabelle Lengronne, Tuesday December 28, was taken into custody Thursday December 30 at the Dax police station (Landes), reports France Bleu Gascogne. The facts took place during the night of Monday to Tuesday while she was visiting Dax for the end of the year celebrations. The 34-year-old actress, who notably starred in Girls of Joy, lodged a complaint for “racial insult and sexist contempt”.
The suspect, who was interviewed by the police, was released with a summons to appear in court next February for racist public insults. He risks up to a year of imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros.
On the video filmed and published by the actress, the young man threatened her: “Zemmour he looks at you, he brings you back to your country. I don’t like blacks and Arabs, come back to your dirty country.” The man admitted to the facts while in police custody.
