Man stabbed to death on New York subway

A 32-year-old man died on the New York City subway in Union Square after being stabbed around 4 a.m. Saturday morning, according to the New York Post.

“I was stabbed,” the man reportedly shouted before collapsing. The driver called 911 and then officers attempted to provide first aid. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital.

“The driver was able to talk to him. He said he was stabbed, but said nothing else,” a New York City Police Department (NYPD) spokesperson said.

Police do not know if the victim was stabbed inside or outside the car.

The police did not make any arrests. The investigation is continuing.

Recall that the homicide occurred a few days after the murder of a 36-year-old man who was stabbed in the Brooklyn subway on Tuesday evening.
