A man is in critical condition after being shot Wednesday night in a garage in the borough of LaSalle, in Montreal.

The tragedy would have occurred around 9:10 p.m. on rue Marie Rollet, near boulevard Guy Bouchard, in LaSalle.
The victim was rushed to a hospital center, where he is in critical condition, said Véronique Comptois, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
The scene is currently protected and investigators are on their way. The police reportedly found shell casings at the scene.
