A 39-year-old man died on Saturday after a skydiving accident near Victoriaville airport in Centre-du-Québec.
The incident reportedly occurred around noon near Airport Road in Victoriaville.
“For a reason still unknown, the parachutist would have experienced difficulties during the landing”, explained Catherine Bernard, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
“His death was found in a hospital center,” she added at the start of the evening.
An investigation is underway to understand the circumstances of this event.
