A man, considered dangerous, fled Thursday, January 27 from the psychiatric emergency room of the Toulouse University Hospital (Haute-Garonne), reports France Bleu Occitanie, confirming information revealed by La Dépêche du Midi. The 32-year-old man cheated the vigilance of the psychiatric emergency staff at Purpan hospital. According to the prosecution, “she would have triggered the fire system to escape”. The Toulouse police were alerted around 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning. The man was found by the anti-crime squad around 4 p.m. while he was trying to withdraw money near Place des Carmes. According to France Bleu Occitanie, it was the demarcation of his phone that made it possible to find him.

This man, declared irresponsible for an assassination attempt committed on November 10, 2017 in Blagnac, was hospitalized without consent in a specialized hospital center, on the decision of a representative of the State. A car then drove into students, injuring three, including one seriously, recalls France Bleu Occitane. In eight days, it is the third person taken care of in a psychiatric unit in Toulouse who escapes.
