An important rally for the National Rally. In an interview with Figaropublished Sunday March 24, the essayist Malika Sorel, member of the High Council for Integration and its secularism mission, dissolved in 2012, announces that she has become number two on the RN list for the European elections. “Today, by supporting Marine Le Pen, by being number two on the list led by Jordan Bardella, I wish to participate in the French recomposition. I worked with Dominique de Villepin, Nicolas Sarkozy and François Fillon: from now on, I believes that the National Rally is the only party which defends the superior interests of France and the French people”she explains.

“After observing the French decomposition, my choice is clear”she adds in a thread of messages posted on the social network X, late Sunday morning.

Born in France, this daughter of Algerians was a member of the High Council for Integration during Nicolas Sarkozy’s five-year term. She has written several essays on immigration and what she calls “decomposition of France”, by reproaching “a part” immigrants from “return against the host land”. “Marine Le Pen faces a certain number of realities”she estimated in 2017, while supporting François Fillon.

A rally greeted by Marine Le Pen

Today, Malika Sorel says Figaro not have “found, in LR, a personality who has enough political courage to straighten out France and build the necessary Europe of nations and peoples.” “As [Marine Le Pen], I attack the established system. It is crucial for the future of our country to restore democracy and ensure political coherence.”she justifies on X.

The president of the RN group in the National Assembly was delighted with this choice on the social network. “We are proud to be able to count on her, her background and her experience!” she greeted.
