In the basement, you have an empty gas bottle that is no longer useful because you misplaced the contract a long time ago? Consider transforming it.
It is quite serious Emmanuel Grosbois, as surprising as it may seem.
First version of this original seat: freed at its base from the ring that allows it to stand up, you get a culbuto. This roundness will become the seat, we will drive it into the ground with an iron rod threaded into the upper part, in place of the tap. Here she goes for a new life, upside down.
But tinkering with a gas cylinder, even empty, requires precautions. Yes, it absolutely must be filled with water or sand to avoid pressure.
Second version: you cut it in half halfway up, you get two tanks (always after having taken the precaution of filling it with water or sand) and each tank thus obtained can be filled with sand for a minimum of comfort.
We are obviously in the presence of basic foundations on which you will not spend hours but which can offer you a short rest between two works in the garden.
Consider painting the exterior with shimmering colors that will allow the old gas bottle to blend into the green landscape.
An idea signed by Emmanuel Grosbois for the A Fleur d’Eau garden in Cherveux, a place of tranquility that we can visit again from April 4.
