Around 3 a.m., on the night of Saturday to Sunday, a fire broke out in a house at the level of the Jules Roche quay in Serrières in Ardèche. The fire would have started from a pile of wood, it is now fixed. The building completely burned down. 22 residents had to be evacuated as a safety measure because of the risk of the flames spreading.
Thirty firefighters were mobilized to the scene. Four fire engines and a large ladder were dispatched to the scene. This Sunday morning, the firefighters will carry out reconnaissance on the surrounding homes to see if the inhabitants can return to their homes.
