A major Bell TV service outage hit Quebec and Ontario on Tuesday night.

“Customers in Ontario and Quebec may experience service issues with their television service,” Bell said in a post on Twitter. “Our technical team is investigating the issue and will restore service as soon as possible. »
“Some customers in Quebec and Ontario are currently affected by an interruption of their Fibe TV service,” confirmed spokesperson Caroline Audet by email. “Customers can access live TV using the Fibe TV app, which is unaffected by the outage,” she added.
Bell did not say how many customers are affected or estimate how long it will take to resolve the outage.
