A magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck the Pacific Ocean off the coast of the Philippines on Tuesday morning, the United States Institute of Geophysics (USGS) announced.
The natural phenomenon occurred at a depth of 70 km about 100 km southeast of Sarangani province, the USGS said.
The earthquake did not trigger a tsunami warning, according to the United States Tsunami Warning System.
