A new legal fight awaits Magali Berdah. As revealed by BFMTV and Paris Match, the popess of reality TV and influencers has just sued Maeva Ghennam, her former great friend. She accuses him of having made death threats against her, on the sidelines of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, on which the two ex-friends do not share the same opinion. Speaking to BFMTV, Magali Berdah’s lawyer, Me David-Olivier Kaminski, recalled the comments made by Maeva Ghennam in a first video, followed by several others: “I’m too angry with the big bitch (sic) of Magali Berdah. I’m too angry. I open my phone right now and what do I see? Oh I’m in Israel supporting these murderers who kill Palestinians every day!”
These very virulent comments against the one who employed her for many years date back to December 7, 2023. Following these, many other videos had been posted by the influencer to 3.3 million subscribers, who criticized him in particular to owe him more than €500,000 ; comments that she reaffirmed a few hours ago on her social networks, upon the announcement of her filing of a complaint: “She owes me 500,000 euros, she no longer answers the phone. Well yes, I insult her, what’s the matter? (…) Thief, scammer (…) She’s not the popess, she’s the traitor of influence“ she condemned.
She continues the trials
For Magali Berdah’s advice, the Instagram and Snapchat stories published by Maeva Ghennam provoked her client “serious psychological trauma”leading her de facto to sue her former great friend for “death threats, incitement to racial hatred, cyberharassment, blackmail and psychological violence”. Me Kaminski also wanted to remind “the vulnerability of (his) client” given the numerous other legal cases that she has been facing for several months, and the strong attacks she receives about them on social networks, notably fueled by the rapper Booba. The former TPMP columnist was recently indicted for “bankruptcy and money laundering” in a case that will be judged on September 30, 2024, and also had to face influencer Sam Zirah in court.
