The influence sector hasn’t had good press for several months. Between dropshipping and other scams, web personalities are constantly singled out by Internet users. To restore the image of this new activity, the Assembly therefore decided to discuss it once and for all. This Thursday, April 13, 2023, the Senate then examined the bill regulating influencers.
A meeting to which Magali Berdah, founder of the Shauna Events agency, was invited to meet with three senators. His goal ? “Regulate the sector and make it a ‘healthier’ environment”, reports BFM TV. To do this, the businesswoman asks the government to put in place a code of good conduct. “We have proven responsibilities”she believes. “We are humans, we can have warnings in case of errors. But if an influencer has the necessary training and information and repeats the same mistakes, there must be a radiation”.

In addition to this code of good conduct, Magali Berdah wants training to be available continuously. “The Internet is a big, vast world with lots of bad thoughts. You need to have continuous training and not just a single certificate”, she explained. Comments relayed by our colleagues.
For the moment, nothing has been decided yet. The Senate is expected to continue its examination of the bill before rendering its verdict. Exit Magali Berdah, rapper Booba, at war with influencers for many months, was also called to testify. An invitation he unfortunately declined. If he intends to continue his fight against those he calls “influencers”, the interpreter of “Mona Lisa” does not seek “to do politics”. “I will not go to the Senate I am not trying to do politics just to unmask these influencers and fight the culture of emptiness. I let you do your job, condemn them, punish them, thank you”he wrote on his Twitter account this Thursday, April 13, 2023.
