She then posted a snap of the little boy sleeping in a hospital crib, with a bandage on his arm so he wouldn’t touch his drip. “He must stay twenty-four hours hospitalized and perfused for hydration“, can we read in the caption.
Shortly after, Maeva Martinez spoke on video to explain the situation to her community, which must have been worried. She said they were quickly taken care of and immediately the doctors explained that Gabriel had to be hospitalized for twenty-four hours because he was dehydrated. It therefore had to be infused, but not everything went as planned. “At the fateful moment of the infusion, unfortunately there have been many attempts. The veins being dehydrated, they are flat, very fragile and not very visible. So he was bitten on both hands, on both feet, on the inside of his arm. It was done over several periods of course. (…) It was very very complicated. We ended up laughing gas cause it was too hard for him. The doctors couldn’t do it, so they ended up calling theanaesthetist who is used to puncturing veins that they are not used to doing“, she said. Maeva Martinez therefore had a thought for the parents whose children have serious illnesses and for whom the hospital is unfortunately like a second home. “The results are big flu and big gastro.
