Maeva Coucke’s life changed on December 16, 2017. That day, she was elected Miss France 2018 and since then she has been in the spotlight. Her life is scrutinized on social networks, a daily life that she likes to share with her community. Thus, on July 21, 2022, the 28-year-old young woman made a revelation about her state of health.
Maeva Couke shares everything with her subscribers. Her life as a couple with François Bonifaci, her projects… She reveals the best and the worst. As proof yesterday, she mentioned a health concern with which she has had to live for a year. The former beauty queen has nodules in the vocal cords. And to get rid of it, she called on a healer. “You should know that today this morning, I went to see a healer. I don’t know if any of you have ever seen one. Either you believe in it or you don’t, I won’t dwell on it. Just jI went to see him for the vocal cord problems since it’s been going on for a year now. It’s very long. I still have so much trouble speaking, I lose my voice all the time…“, she confided. And to clarify that she will “even see a speech therapist“.
Maeva Coucke did not want to talk about her feelings following this meeting. She quickly changed the subject to talk about the rest of her day. The ex-Miss explained that she had been invited to the Grand Prix de France by Emirates. An event she awaits all year. But seeing that the places weren’t arriving, she checked her tracking number and saw that they had been delivered. “I see someone signed. (…) My seats are gone so I was so sad all day“, she said. Fortunately, she ended up finding their trace and will therefore be able to go there on July 24.
Hopefully she will be as lucky with her health. Remember that it was last October that Maeva Coucke spoke for the first time about what she was suffering from. “I went to the ENT. I have vocal cord nodules (hence my broken voice for two months)“, she had launched. She had quickly clarified that these tumors were benign (non-cancerous). She still underwent a throat operation the following month. An intervention which unfortunately did not solve her problem.
