Madonna postpones her tour, after being hospitalized for a few days with a serious bacterial infection

American pop megastar Madonna, 64, is recovering from a “severe bacterial infection” who forced her to be hospitalized in intensive care on June 24 and to postpone her new tour to start in mid-July in Canada, her agent announced on Wednesday June 28. “Her health is improving, but she remains under medical care” And “we are waiting for a full recovery”wrote on his Instagram account his manager Guy Oseary without saying if Madonna was still in hospital or being treated at home.

“On Saturday June 24, Madonna contracted a serious bacterial infection which led to her being in the intensive care unit for several days”revealed Guy Oseary. “Right now we have to suspend all engagements, including the tour”announced the agent of the star, promising to communicate “Soon” on new dates for the “Celebrations” tour in North America and Europe, including Paris and London. The first concert was to be held on July 15 in Vancouver, western Canada. The star is also due to come to the Accor Arena in Paris on November 12 and 13.
