Dorian Rossel, the director, took Raphael’s painting, “The Sistine Madonna” as the starting point for his show. A painting which has known an unusual fate, but which arouses a lot of reactions, in particular an immense kindness which emerges from it, and an opening on other forms of art such as for example the theater.
In Madonna, the 7 characters are locked in a cork box in a closed world, and little by little, they will break this box to discover a new world that exists outside, and will try to live together.
The show is also a tribute to theater and its ability to transform the world.
