Tuesday, March 22, the 12/13 receives Philippe Poutou, candidate of the New Anti-Capitalist Party (NPA). He displayed his solidarity with the Corsican youth and castigated the policy of the European Union in Russia.
Philippe Poutou, candidate of the New Anti-Capitalist Party (NPA), is present, Tuesday, March 22, on the set of 12/13. He will go to Corsica on Wednesday, after the news of the death of Yvan Colonna, following his attack in prison. If the government has called for calm on the island of beauty, Philippe Poutou says to himself “in solidarity with the anger that is expressed today in Corsica”and expresses its desire to “recognize the self-determination of peoples”. “We think that it is by protesting, by mobilizing, by taking our business in hand that we can change the situation”he continues.
According to Philippe Poutou, the violence is elsewhere. “People are being screwed up at work, people are being abused, dying of poverty, dying of unemployment. Society is ultra-violent, Macron’s policy is ultra-violent”, adds the NPA candidate. If he judges the anger of the Corsicans “legitimate”Philippe Poutou recalls that he is not “not there to try to stir up”. On Ukraine, he is delighted to “the expression of solidarity” of the French, while dissociating itself from the “policy of the European Union”which does “anything”. In particular, he criticizes the international community for having accepted “to do the Games [Olympiques] with Putin” and cooperated in the past with Russia.
