On Friday May 26, 2023, the French rugby player and pillar of Montpellier Hérault Rugby was arrested by the police in downtown Montpellier after an altercation with his partner Imane Haouas. During his arrest, the athlete told the police that he had caught his wife smoking and would not have accepted it. In fact, he would have pulled her by force from the shopping center in which they were before tripping her up and slapping her when she was on the ground.
The M6 Info Twitter account has just unveiled the video, this Thursday, June 1, of the said altercation. A video that confirms the words of Mohamed Haouas since we can see him chasing his companion, putting her on the ground with his foot, and slapping her while she is on the ground, before doing her get out of where they are.

Mohamed Haouas would have acted out of “jealousy”
The pillar of the MHR was judged in immediate appearance for the facts which took place on Friday May 26 but will not however go to prison thanks to a flexible sentence. A decision that “relieved” his companion who made an appearance during the trial which was held on Tuesday, May 30. On the side of the lawyer of Mohamed Haouas, Marc Gallix, delivered his feelings on the attitude of his client when he came to the set of BFM TV this Wednesday, May 31.
“What I felt from the debates yesterday was that my client did not support or accept that his wife finds a job because it is the first time”he said by videoconference initially before continuing: “He also couldn’t stand her hanging out with work colleagues, starting to smoke when she’s never smoked. So I say it’s just jealousy”.
