Lyon’s appeal was rejected by the FFF

The appeal of Olympique Lyonnais, which contested the decision taken by the Professional Football League not to sanction OM for the stone-throwing of Lyon coaches on October 29, was rejected, the Sports department of Radio France learned Friday November 24 from a source close to the French Football Federation (FFF). The appeal is deemed “inadmissible”.

The championship meeting between the two teams could not be played on Sunday October 29 in Marseille. The OL bus was stoned near the Vélodrome stadium. Lyon coach Fabio Grosso suffered an eye injury after a projectile was thrown at the vehicle.

The match was postponed to December 6 at the Vélodrome stadium by the competitions commission of the Professional Football League (LFP).
