Paris Saint-Germain and OGC Nice have yet to decide, but they already know their potential opponent. The winner of this quarter-final, which remains to be played due to its postponement to Wednesday March 13, will face Stade Rennes, qualified on Thursday, at home. The draw for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France, made on Friday March 1, also pitted Olympique Lyonnais against Valenciennes.

Invited on the set, the French team polo player Rémi Saudadier carried out the draw for the semi-finals of the Coupe de France. The square will be completed by the winner of PSG-Nice on March 13. He will face Rennes and Olympique Lyonnais will host Valenciennes.

The Northerners, who fell to FC Rouen on penalties (1-1, 4-2 tab) on Wednesday February 28, enjoyed an unexpected epic. Last in Ligue 2 and almost condemned to the descent to the third level, the VAFC will play a gala match at the Groupama Stadium. The Rhone residents beat Strasbourg without shining (0-0, 4-3 tab) on Tuesday February 27. This Coupe de France is the shortest way to return to European evenings for Pierre Sage’s men, who are on good momentum in the championship, but still far from the qualifying places in the European Cup.

For its part, Stade Rennes ended the Puy adventure on Thursday February 29 (3-1) and was booked a difficult trip to Nice or Paris. The Parisians failed in the round of 16 in the two previous editions, and will be keen to win back a trophy that has eluded them since 2021. The semi-finals will take place on Wednesday April 3. The winners will meet in the final on May 25, in a stadium that remains to be determined due to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
