The Gérard Prêcheur era began with a defeat. PSG and its new coach lost to Lyon (0-1) in the Champions Trophy, played on Sunday evening at the Marcel-Tribut stadium in Dunkirk. A goal from Danielle van de Donk (13th) was enough to delight the Lyonnaises, who have already won their first trophy this season.

Deprived of Wendie Renard and Amandine Henry, injured, OL were first taken by the intensity of Paris. And it was on his first real foray that the European champion made the difference. Launched deep on the right, Delphine Cascarino tried her luck in force. Repelled by goalkeeper Lydia Williams, the ball ended up at the feet of Van de Donk, alone to conclude (1-0, 13th).

Lyon then pressed on the accelerator. Malard first scored with a nice return, a goal disallowed for a prior foul by Ada Hegerberg on Williams (16th), then Griedge Mbock headed just wide from a corner (23rd). Dominated in the midfield, Paris remained threatening via sharp attacks on the left wing. Reinvigorated after the break, PSG went back on the attack. Threatening but not killer enough, like this too cross shot from Baltimore (72nd), PSG gradually lowered their foot. And it was Lyon, as a regular, who quietly managed the end of the match.
