Dancer, choreographer and multidisciplinary artist Lydia Bouchard will direct the show Long live our divas, sixth edition of the Cirque du Soleil tribute series which will be presented from July 20 to August 20, 2022 at the Cogeco Amphitheater in Trois-Rivières.
The 75-minute show is defined as a 90-year exploration of the musical repertoire of female icons of Quebec song. However, no details were given on the names of the four singers selected for the show or on the repertory pieces they will perform.
In addition to the four singers, 23 acrobats will be on stage.

“Year after year, through our Tribute Series, we have created a unifying and exclusive summer event in Trois-Rivières, and we are impatient to be able to present this sixth edition to the public next summer”, declares Daniel Lamarre, president. and CEO of Cirque du Soleil Group, in a press release.
Well known for her work on the show Revolution at TVA, Lydia Bouchard will be responsible for the staging and choreographic direction of the show. Jean-Phi Goncalves will provide musical direction and arrangements.
