LASSO Montreal announced Wednesday morning the programming of its first version, initially scheduled for the summer of 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic will have got the better of evenko’s first two attempts to present a first international country music festival in the metropolis. The third should be the correct one.

The Phoenix singer Dierks Bentley will arrive on Friday with a tenth album in his holster, while the famous author of country girl, Luke Bryan, will be on stage at Parc Jean-Drapeau the next day. His name, listed on the inaugural poster for 2020, was unveiled last December.

In addition to Riley Green, singers Ashley McBryde and Tenille Townes will bring the dancers up to speed. As for the local country scene, it will be represented by Matt Lang, Sara Dufour, Five Roses, Brittany Kennell and Léa Jarry.

LASSO en ville, an indoor event presented the day before the festival, i.e. August 11, will publish its program shortly.
