Lucie Lucas fears for her career after her latest revelations about Victoria Abril

After a long silence, Lucie Lucas chose to reveal the actions of her co-star, Victoria Abril, signatory of a column in support of Gérard Depardieu, published in Le Figaro last December 25. According to the 37-year-old actress, the interpreter of Caroline Boissier in the television series Clem, would be guilty of“sexual assault against partners”.

Interviewed by the HuffPost this Friday, December 29, 2023, the actress returned to this huge bombshell dropped a few days ago. “Seeing all these names on this list, it made me explode. Victoria Abril, she’s my movie mom, I felt betrayed. I was threatening, without having the intention of elaborating regarding non-consensual acts, since I was not directly concerned and I do not tell the stories of others without their consent. On the other hand, I wanted to make them aware of the hypocrisy of signing such a forum, and remember that no one is untouchable”, she confided.

“I can’t work anymore”

To this day, Lucie Lucas is aware that her speaking out risks having an impact on the rest of her career. Things are going to get complicated for me, that’s for sure.”she assured. “I don’t know at all if I’m going to get new contracts. I’m going to be targeted as someone who talks. But I can no longer work at any price.”

And to continue: “We need to be better protected by productions and channels, moreover Clem’s production is today caring and attentive and that should be the norm, everywhere. We need the people who who have the impression of acting with complete impunity no longer have this feeling. And that people who are vulnerable, less known or in the shadows, feel legitimate to set their limits. And safe when they denounce that these limits have been exceeded.” Will the big family of French cinema really turn its back on the actress? To be continued…
