French tennis player Lucas Pouille was the victim of a burglary at his home in Rennes to the tune of 600,000 euros, franceinfo learned from a source close to the case on Tuesday June 6.
According to the first investigations, the facts occurred on May 31, while the player was in full competition at Roland-Garros. The Rennes prosecutor’s office has confirmed to France Bleu Armorique the burglary suffered by Lucas Pouille, and says it does not want to provide more details at this stage.

According to the first elements of the investigation, from a source familiar with the matter at franceinfo, the burglary was discovered two days after the fact, on Friday June 2, when the tennis player was playing the 1st round of the mixed doubles with Chloé Paquet before being eliminated. Lucas Pouille noted the disappearance of jewelry and luxury watches.
