Producer Luc Wiseman pleaded guilty on Thursday to a charge of sexually touching a minor.
The 65-year-old had earlier waived his preliminary investigation, which was to span two days, at the Montreal courthouse. He cut short the proceedings by pleading guilty.
Luc Wiseman was the president and owner of the production company Avanti Groupe, which notably produces the popular show Everybody talks about it and in the past, hits like La petite vie.
He left office due to the charges against him.
